Daniel J. Willis

Dan Willis was born November 22, 1968 and raised in Okeechobee, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida in 1993. In 1993, he began working for the Florida LAKEWATCH program. He graduated in the spring of 2000 from the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Florida with a Masters of Science degree. After graduation he has continued working for the LAKEWATCH program at the University of Florida in the field of applied aquatic sciences research. Dan trains and works with citizen volunteers in the lake monitoring program.
