Tina Crosby

Tina is from Florida and has a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Florida and an A.S. in Aquaculture from Hillsborough Community College. She worked for the University of Florida Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory in Ruskin, FL for two and a half years on a grant studying methodologies to improve harvesting, grading, and transportation of ornamental fish and disseminating the information through University publications, a University instructional video, and peer reviewed papers. Tina is currently working towards her M.S. under Dr. Denise Petty focusing on fish health management. Her project is the investigation of metomidate hydrochloride (Aquacalm) as an anesthetic for mitigating acute stress in the shipping of ornamental fish. e-mail: TCCrosby@mail.ifas.ufl.edu |
