Administrative FYI Everyone: People who use their personal vehicles to tow State boats may be held liable if they are in an accident and it was found that they were at fault. In cases where our employee uses his/her personal vehicle to tow a State boat and is at fault for the accident and damage, UF will look at that employee's insurance company to cover the damage to the State boat. Many of our boats are very expensive. Some insurance companies may not cover such things depending on their policy. Time Reporting Procedure: The new computer reporting process began June 18, 2004!. For a "Cheat Sheet" on how to report time and leave, download either a Word format or PDF format copy. The following manuals and interdepartmental forms are available in both pdf format and Microsoft Word. You can download the pdf files and open them with Acrobat Reader (If you do not have Acrobat Reader, download it from Adobe's web site (Acrobat Reader). The FAS Handbook and the FAS Graduate Handbook are available here to read and / or print for future reference. Information pertaining to the forms: You can open the document using the pdf format, print it, and complete it by hand, and take it to the Department office. If you prefer to use the MS Word format, then you can download the .doc file to open in Word (either Mac or Windows). You can then complete the form by hand OR by typing the information on-line, printing it, and then turning it in to the Department office OR sending it to the appropriate person as an e-mail attachment. (Only the Word format will allow you to type directly on the form and send as an e-mail attachment.) Note regarding forms in MS Word format: If you plan to type the information directly on the form, please be aware that the formatting will change. To help the administrative staff and to keep the formatting, please highlight the blank that you wish to complete, type the appropriate response, and re-underline the word(s) you added. |
