Florida Aquatic Animal Health Program
A Biosecurity Program for Florida Aquaculture Producers

Plan Levels:

Aquaculture facilities vary according to manpower and size of operation. One program will not suit all producers, so three levels were designed to provide accessibility to the program. All levels include biosecurity protocols that will reduce disease risk.

The basic level which is termed the Bronze Biosecurity Program is intended for those producers who may not have the resources to comply with biosecurity protocols such as quarantine, but can institute biosecurity measures that effectively reduce disease risk.

The advanced levels, Silver and Gold Biosecurity Programs, are aimed at those producers who have the resources and the desire to implement strict biosecurity measures. All plans incorporate recordkeeping, handling, and maintenance on-farm.
